Position Summary:
ME should have process plant (chemical, refinery, power) experience, either design or maintenance. Must have good writing and verbal communication skills. A/E firm experience is a plus. Must be at least registration-tracked.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering studies, write reports, and complete engineering calculations.
• Prepare designs for process plant installations, including completion of construction drawings and specifications.
• Specifications will include major items of rotating equipment such as compressors, turbines, and pumps.
• Other equipment will include pressure vessels, heat exchangers, dryers, distillation columns, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Work as team member or leader to complete designs, including working w/ PFDs and P&IDs.
• Assist in preparation of bid packages and equipment purchasing.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, which qualifies for licensure in the state of practice, is required. PE or PE-tracked preferred. 8+ years direct experience required. OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate preferred.
