Job Duties and Responsibilities
ManTech is seeking an energetic, experienced administrative support specialist with experience to support a government field site office and staff. The successful candidate will provide professional administrative support to senior government officials. As a collateral duty, the candidate will support the Secutiy Manager in developing, implementing and monitoring compliance with applicable field site office physical and data security requirements.
General Responsibilities may include:

  • Prepare documents, letters, memorandums, reports, briefings, and administrative forms, including sensitive and/or routine correspondence and maintain files containing proprietary/confidential information.
  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the Government senior-level managers and handle routine administrative details.
  • Maintain and manage calendar/meeting schedules; coordinate travel itinerary, lodging, and transportation requirements; and prepare and submit expense reports, as requested.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of a disciplined, efficient correspondence, deliverables, action items, issue, and external task requirements tracking system.
  • Create, maintain, update and reconcile spreadsheets to support reporting and analysis for senior managers.
  • Establish, maintain and monitor a variety of records and statistical data regarding the administrative services provided.
  • Participate in preparing workload and productivity reports, evaluating areas for process improvements, and determining root causes for problems and processing errors by gathering and compiling data; entering data into database programs; evaluating it for patterns or trends; and generating various management reports.
  • Execute other duties as assigned to include correspondence delivery/control and file management.
  • Assist users in the organization with software, hardware, and automation problems, as requested.
Collateral Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of security policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Define and monitor compliance with physical and data security requirements; establish interfaces with Department of Defense security organizations.
  • Develop and maintain security and accreditation policies and procedures manuals.
  • Coordinate with Special Security Officer's (SSO's) and Information System Security Officer’s (ISSO’s) as necessary for secure spaces and computing environments.
  • Manage facility access controls including visitor access requests, greeting site visitors, issuing visitor badges, receiving deliveries,andmaintaining the sign-in log.

Qualifications
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s in administration or management; qualified candidates with lesser education possessing sufficient years of direct relevant experience will be considered. Must possess demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. The candidate must have, at minimum, 2-4 years of direct, relevant experience providing senior management level administrative support that included generating highly analytical reports/materials. Security administration experience required.

  • Experience using various software packages, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, desktop publishing, to produce, store and retrieve a variety of information and presentations.
Clearance: Position requires, at a minimum, a Secret level clearance.
