Currently seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist who enjoys building relationships and gets excited about supporting internal teams with exceptional customer service.

This position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.

How You Contribute:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Respond to queries in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Train computer users and write training documentation.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
• Walk customer through problem-solving process.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
• Help resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
• Install computer peripherals for users.
• Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.

Criteria for Success:

Must have a history of problem solving and providing great customer service. Must have the desire to learn, continuously improve and be willing to accept responsibility. Must be able to work individually, or as a member of a team, use common sense and build a network of relationships with a positive attitude. Must have the ability to give clear communication.

Skills/Education

Formal education in a related field and/or equivalent experience or equivalent training. This person should have a high level of energy, the ability to work independently with an interest in continuous learning and creative problem solving.

This person must possess a high level of written and verbal communication with a variety of audiences. Must have the ability to give clear instruction to both technical and non-technical disciplines. This individual should be able to adjust priorities on the fly while keeping the big picture in focus.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
