Dematic has a great opportunity for a rising junior or senior to join their R&D engineering operations team. This position will be part of the Product Development Supply Chain Solutions (PD SCS) organization. The PD SCS team supports both new product introduction and sustaining projects. In this role there will be opportunity for cross functional collaboration across the entire global R&D team. In this role the engineering operations intern will report directly to the operations manager.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

The Engineering Operations Intern will be responsible for:

• Supporting in making sure there is alignment with the $40+ million-dollar R&D budget to active projects
• Assistance in preparing quarterly report outs on all active engineering projects
• Ensuring alignment between global processes
• Integral part of R&D operations team
• Manage and report out on key performance indicator (KPI) metrics
• Identifies and resolves product issues using problem-solving skills

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Knowledge in PowerBI, MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
• Preferred experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
• Ability to work well within in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-starter who will take initiative to identified issues and pursue resolutions
• Detail orientated
