Our Metro Grand Rapids client is in need of an contract-to-hire Senior Project Accountant. As the contract-to-hire Senior Project Accountant, you will be responsible for full month-end close, including completing bank and account reconciliations, posting journal entries, working in the general ledger and posting accruals. In addition, the contract-to-hire Senior Project Accountant will be responsible for generating financial statements, completing variance and revenue analysis, as well as budget to actual to forecast analysis. The contract-to-hireSenior Project Accountant will also be responsible for financial and revenue reporting, as well as supporting internal and external audits.
The ideal contract-to-hire Senior Project Accountant will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and must have a Bachelors degree inAccounting, Finance or related field. In addition, the ideal contract-to-hire candidate musthave a CPA or be working towards their CPA, e.g. enrolled in an MBA program or otherwise working towardobtaining the required 150 credits to be eligible to sit for the exam. The ideal contract-to-hire candidate must also have prior experience working in a large accounting ERP, such as a NetSuite, SAP, etc. Hands-on project accounting. This position is required to be onsite on ahybrid basis and is contract-to-hire.
