Description

The Senior Financial Analyst provides technical expertise, planning, analysis, and decision-making support and works closely with the Financial Controller, CFO, and Leadership team.


Essential Job Functions

Demonstrates SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.

Responsible for various asset, liability, revenue, and expense GL accounts - responsibilities include balance verification, analysis of accounts, research, and review as necessary.

Responsible for various month-end close items and balance sheet reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.

Involvement in: Budgeting, Strategy Planning, and Month-End Financial Reporting.

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by comprehension and verification of transactions/journal entries recorded.

Development of financial models for forward-looking forecasts, 5-Year Valuation support, other items as requested by Leadership.

Helps provide direction for best-practice processes and accurate accounting compliance.

Responsible for preparing presentation materials for Board of Director Meetings, Finance Committee Meetings, Company Meetings, Budget Planning, 5-Year Strategy Planning, and ad-hoc requests.

M&A activity support, as needed.

Able to perform job consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.

Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CMA, CPA, or MBA preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

5+ years related experience.

Self-initiator, team player, effective communicator, with a customer focus. * Expertise in MS Excel and technical skills with other Microsoft Office products (Syteline and/or Prophix knowledge is a plus)

Demonstrated knowledge/experience with accounting laws and regulations.

Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.


Working Conditions

Mostly office environment, occasional light manufacturing environment.

Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting.

Some level of domestic and/or international travel may be required.

May work remotely.

Mostly normal business hours with occasional need to flex hours.
