Position Summary:
Provides a wide range of support to the HR department including background checks, event planning, recruitment, payroll, and data reporting and analysis. Main point of contact for employee questions and requests.

Essential Functions:
Performs customer service functions responding to various employee questions and requests.
Coordinates payroll process at the divisional level to include reviewing and approving timesheets, entering paid time off and ensuring FMLA/WC spreadsheets are up to date.
Coordinates events and meetings including but not limited to preparing and distributing agendas and meeting materials, and reserving and preparing facilities.
Supports the human resources department by answering questions and furnishing information.
Provide guidance to leadership on common employee relations issues.
Creates and distributes all types of correspondence.
Collects, compiles, and prepares data for analysis that facilitate tracking of data.
Collaborates with divisional management to assist with recruiting and on-boarding process including completing background checks, coordinating drug screenings, entering new hire information, coordinating with the department management teams, and reviewing and corresponding with candidates.
Manages the employee referral program, tracks referrals and processes payouts.
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, ie minimum wage and ensures postings are current and meet legal requirements.
Coordinates Employee of the Month program.
Coordinates employee purchasing of Personal Protective Equipment.
Maintains employee personnel files.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures in the recruiting and human resource areas
Ability to use discretion and make sound judgments to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Ability to cope with stressful situations and maintain a calm and professional demeanor
Written and verbal communication skills to speak one-on-one and send correspondence to individuals and groups
Interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion with little supervision
Ability to use spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email, internet and HRIS software
Equipment / Tools / Technology:
Laptop, scanner, printer, copier
Spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, e-mail, internet and HRIS software applications (preferably Workday)
General office equipment
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School/Equivalent - Required
Associate Degree - Preferred
One - two years previous administrative experience in human resources function or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
